Mrs. Swann

Welcome to a new year of learning!  I am the Media Specialist here at Franklin Academy.  The 2018-2019 school year will be my sixth year at Franklin, but my twentieth year of teaching.  I have taught combinations of third, fourth, fifth, multi-age and looping classrooms, in addition to Media classes.  Awarded the Teacher Of The Quarter at my first school in California was an honor. I was also awarded Teacher of the Year in 2003-2004 at a Broward County elementary school.  I love what I do and look forward to an engaging school year!

On a personal note, I am married and have one son.  As a family we love to travel, bike, read, and cook.  As a proud Franklin parent, “Go Bulldogs!”
